Question: Why do you say that people who need people are the luckiest people in the world? God answers me with the title of another song.

God’s answer:

One is the loneliest number

Question: Why did you create us with the need for a soul-mate?

God’s answer:

To love others as you love your self.

Meaning: This is the second greatest commandment. When God speaks of loving one’s self, He is not speaking of selfish self-love. When He created soul- mates, a soul-mate is one’s self (flesh of my flesh, bone of my bones). Love is outward not inward. Thus by loving and being loved by one’s self, the soul- mate (who is outside of you), we can also love others in the same way.

Question: I still don’t get it, if we are all like peas is a pod, then everyone is like us, why did you create a specific soul-mate for each person the way you did?

God’s answer:

Convenience
There’s no need to shop around

Meaning: There’s no need to find someone who is just like you. God is referencing the story of why and how Eve was formed, which became the basis of how soul-mates were thereafter created.

Yahweh God said, 'It is not right that the man should be alone. I shall make him a helper.' So from the soil Yahweh God fashioned all the wild animals and all the birds of heaven. These he brought to the man to see what he would call them; each one was to bear the name the man would give it. The man gave names to all the cattle,

all the birds of heaven and all the wild animals. But no helper suitable for the man was found for him.

Then, Yahweh God made the man fall into a deep sleep. And, while he was asleep, he took one of his ribs and closed the flesh up again forthwith. Yahweh God fashioned the rib he had taken from the man into a woman, and brought her to the man. And the man said: This one at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh! She is to be called Woman, because she was taken from Man. (Genesis 2:18-23)

The phrase no need to shop around is from the song: “Shop Around”. To listen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjTMcMa9--g

Question: Do we also love the angels as we love our self?

God’s answer:

They are others.

Meaning: Here God clarifies the broader meaning of His commandment, love others as you love your self. I missed God’s point until my nephew shared with me an answer he received from God.

My nephew asked: “Why should we follow the Greatest Commandment (love God with all your soul, and all your power) and the Golden Rule (love one another as you do yourself)?”

God’s answer:

If you love Me, you will know your self.
If you love others, you will know Me.
